Walking with ANZACS

More than 4,000 returned service men and women who courageously fought in the First World War lie at rest in the Australian Imperial Forces section at West Terrace Cemetery; among them four Victoria Cross recipients. Behind each of these brave souls is a story of service.

From the battle of Gallipoli to the brutal trenches of France, relive their courage, determination and mateship as you explore the country’s first dedicated military burial ground.

Walking with ANZACS departs from the Australian Imperial Forces section, located in the south western corner of the cemetery. The tour costs $10 per person and is 90 minutes in duration. Tour dates and times for April and May are listed below.

April: Sunday 19 April at 10.30am   
  Tuesday 21 April at 10.30am  
  Saturday 25 April at 10.30am  
  Sunday 26 April at 10.30am  
  Tuesday 28 April at 10.30am  
May: Thursday 14 May at 10.30am
